Give Thanks Every Day

November 22, 2010

Many of our ancestors did it, why don’t we? That is, at each and every meal before we greadily rip into and unleash our desires upon the offering sitting on our plates before us. give thanks; appreciation for each item the earth birthed, each sorrow and joy of every soul involved in bringing that plate in front of you. All beings, without the work they do would collapse the tight interwoven fabric of our own existence and that of everything before you. Take a humble moment to set aside yourself for the whole.
